Wednesday training set for the Ciutat Esportiva
The remnants of the first team squad who are not on international duty this week will be back in training on Wednesday at the Ciutat Esportiva.
The squad will train at 10.30 Wednesday morning together with Pep Guardiola’s B team, but only Valdés, Jorquera, Oleguer, Sylvinho and Ezquerro are expected due to international commitments and injuries to Touré Yaya, Edmílson, Eto’o, Márquez and Zambrotta, who will be continuing their recovery programmes.
The same old story
It’s a familiar story for Frank Rijkaard, who finds himself with a skeleton squad whilst the international games are on – he was stuck with just five players during the last international break in September.
