More work at Sant Joan Despí
The first team players that were not called up for international duty have trained again at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, along with some of the reserves.
For the second day in a row, four members of the Barça first team trained at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, in Sant Joan Despí. They were Valdés, Jorquera, Sylvinho and Ezquerro. Oleguer and the injured players, meanwhile, had specific tasks to perform at the Camp Nou.
Gentle session
Sylvinho and Ezquerro worked out with some of the reserve players that are preparing for a game on Friday against Igualada. So the coaches decided to make it a gentle session and focus instead on strategic matters. Frank Rijkaard went to the Ciutat Esportiva, but the actual session was controlled by B team manager Pep Guardiola.
After the usual warm-ups the players worked on one-twos with shots on goal. The group then divided, and the reserves worked on tactics while the four first team players did circuit training and took shots on goal against Valdés and Jorquera, who until then had worked out in the company of goalkeeping coach Juan Carlos Unzué.

Crosas in doubt
In yesterday’s session, Marc Crosas sprained his right knee, but was able to train almost normally today. Nevertheless, he is doubtful for Friday’s home game with Igualada.
