Injured players continue with treatment
Work never stops at FC Barcelona. The injured members of the first team were present on Saturday morning to continue with their recovery programmes.
Although Frank Rijkaard has given the weekend off to the few members of the senior squad that have not been called up for international duty, there was still plenty of activity this morning (Saturday) at the Camp Nou. All the players that are currently recovering from injury were present to continue with their individual recovery programmes. Touré and Zambrotta exercise on the pitch while Eto’o, Edmilson, Márquez and Marc Crosas all worked out in the gym.
Touré and Zambrotta
Touré Yaya and Gianluca Zambrotta exercised on the La Masia training ground. The Ivory Coast international appeared early to do some gentle jogging. Meanwhile, Zambrotta did some sprinting and hurdling and demonstrated that he is making good progress.
