Messi receives Bravo award
This Sunday, Leo Messi received the Bravo award, given by the Italian sports magazine Guerin Sportivo, as the best under-21 player in Europe in 2007.
After Sunday’s training session, Leo Messi was presented with the award inside Nou Camp in recognition of his great talent. The award is given annually by the Italian sports magazine Guerin Sportivo to the best under-21 player in Europe, and in 2007 it has gone to Messi.
Alter receiving the award, Leo Messi gave an interview to Guerin Sportivo, which will be published in the magazine on December 3rd.
The third Blaugrana to win
Leo Messi becomes the third Blaugrana to pick up the award after Guardiola and Ronaldo. The current Barça B coach won it in 1992, and Ronaldo received it five years later. Messi has become the first Argentinean to receive this prize since its inception in 1978.
