Ronaldinho and Giovani feature in draws

Brazil and Mexico drew both their international games, with Ronaldinho featuring in the goalless draw against Colombia and Giovani played the whole game for Mexico in their 2-2 draw with Nigeria.

Ronaldinho’s Brazil kicked off their 2010 World Cup qualifying campaign with a useful draw away to the always tricky Colombians in Bogota. In what proved to be a dour and even game, Ronaldinho played for the full 90 minutes.

Giovani sets up second goal

Giovani was also a starter against Nigeria in Juarez, where Hugo Sanchez’s side came from 0-2 down – both from Newcastle’s Obafemi Martins – thanks to a goal from Cacho and a penalty after a foul on Giovanni, which Cacho converted. The Barca youngster played for the full 90 minutes.
