Gaby Milito: ”We are fine for Saturday”
Gaby Milito believes the international matches will not affect the team’s performance in Villarreal. He also claimed that certain comments about the internal club code simply are not true.
Gaby Milito is optimistic about the weekend, saying “We are all back together and we are all fine. Most of the internationals have done well for our countries and that’s important because we are in a good mood going into the Villarreal game and very keen to play. They are a good team but I hope that if we can play like we have done in recent games that we will get the three points.”
Internal code
He was also asked about comments made in the press this week concerning the club’s internal code. “As far as I understand it, there are things we can’t stop going public but that doesn’t mean they are true” he said. “The club has assured the captains that this information is wrong and that we the players should not worry. When all the captains are here they will tell us about the internal code.”
Well adapted to the team
Milito added that he his delighted to have settled in so well at his new club, saying “I was excited to come to Barça and wanted to progress quickly. The truth is that I have managed that due to the group’s human and footballing qualities. My colleagues have helped me a lot.”
